Unable to cope with the popular hustle culture and its resulting, imposter syndrome, I painted this as a beginner. Having struggled with perfectionism and a crushing fear of mediocrity throughout my childhood, art has been my primary outlet and mode of self assurance. This piece particularly highlights the dilemma of having a multitude of diametrically opposite passions in a system that celebrates specialists - people who fit into the 'Passion Vertical'.
