Resilience

As I lost my mother at a young age and suffered with mental illness for a long span of my life, the concept of "endure" holds a lot of gravity for myself. As a singer and a producer, I would like to make a ballad talking about the importance of resilience and hopefulness. Furthermore, I would like to integrate softer tones in the beginning and slowly bring the song to a rising climax.

Lyrics:

memories play in my head on repeat.

you're gone but It feels like it was yesterday

I am lost in the bittersweet taste of a reverie

God only knows where he took you away.

I feel lost and I want to forget the past

trapped in my head, thoughts are flying fast

when you left, all I thought was nothing lasts

but we have to move on. we have to stay strong.

I feel disconnected

distant from my friends i can't let go.

I just want to see them

want to go its better than being alone

I hate everything

hate all the things that make me stay at home.

let me go let me go.

but we all need resilience

standing strong for all of us

cause I know you will get there.

and for forever ill care.

so stay strong.

you're almost done.

if you can hear me please give me a sign

suffocating, im running out of time

am I being trapped by all your lies

but we have to move on, we have to stay strong

I feel disconnected

distant from my friends i can't let go.

I just want to see them

want to go its better than being alone

I hate everything

hate all the things that make me stay at home.

let me go let me go.

but we all need resilience

standing strong for all of us

cause I know you will get there.

and for forever ill care.

so stay strong.

you're almost done.
