The song that I am dancing to, Hold Me While You Wait by Lewis Capris is about the singer’s girlfriend. The only problem, however, is that she does not actually want to be with him. So he is ‘holding her while she waits’. Thus, the movement in the dance expresses how Lewis is feeling throughout the song and the heartbreak he is experiencing even when he is still with the girl. The dance shows the struggles he goes through, as he is in a relationship with someone who isn't sure whether they want the relationship or not. Through high/low extensions, curving of the body, and sharp/soft movements of the body, the emotions of each part of the song is recognizable in the dance.
