I chose this song as I thought that it would best showcase my musical journey. Growing up, I was really shy, and music was my escape. Singing has really helped me to gain confidence in myself. This has allowed me to be more open and to challenge myself. Singing a song like this is something that I would have never imagined myself to do. Being vulnerable when singing is not exactly an easy thing for me to do. But when I sang this song, I thought about how far I've come with my singing, and I expressed that.
